For the German Culture Weekend in Neringa we created an animated invitation that captures the joyful spirit of the festival and its historical connection between the Curonian Spit and Germany. The event celebrates German traditions through music, food, and cultural experiences, and the visual language needed to feel welcoming, festive, and accessible to a wide audience.
The animation blends bold graphic elements with lively illustration to bring the festival atmosphere to life. Moving patterns, handwritten typography, and a cheerful illustrated character dressed in traditional German attire form the core of the visual narrative. Festival information appears dynamically on screen, unfolding as if written by a quill, while Bavarian flag-inspired patterns flow and transform into a circular stamp-like frame.
