PROJECT OVERVIEW
Forging is the process of shaping raw material under pressure into something durable and precise. That idea became the conceptual backbone of this project, because it describes exactly what Forge DC does with data.
Forge DC already had a brand. What they needed was one that could keep up with where the company was heading. The existing identity had the foundations, but it wasn't fully reflecting the precision, depth, or human quality of the work behind it. Our task was to take what was already there and sharpen it, evolving the visual language into something that could hold its own in a rigorous, detail-driven industry while still feeling approachable and alive.
We started with the logo. Refining its geometry to echo the precision of forged metal. The colour palette was shifted warmer, deliberately, to bring approachability into a technical space without losing credibility. Three typefaces were brought together with a subtle playfulness between them, creating a typographic system that feels structured but never stiff.
The graphic element system was built around data in motion. Elements are intentionally imperfect, because that subtle irregularity is what keeps a brand feeling made, not generated. Those same elements repeat and shift as data streams, with animation built in to reflect the continuous flow at the core of Forge DC's work.
The result is a brand that holds together across every touchpoint: from internal presentations and data reports to social-facing content and motion assets. Precise where it needs to be. Human where it matters most.

KEY FEATURES
Forging as concept: The name and process of forging raw material into something durable became the conceptual and visual foundation of the identity.
Geometric logo construction: The logo is rooted in the angular geometry of forged metal, built with structural integrity and visual clarity.
Warmer colour palette: A deliberate departure from cold corporate palettes, bringing approachability and warmth to a highly technical industry.
Three-typeface system: A carefully selected type pairing with a playful connection between faces, structured without feeling rigid.
Intentionally imperfect graphic elements: Subtle irregularity in the graphic system keeps the brand feeling designed and alive rather than algorithmically produced.
Data in motion: Graphic elements repeat as animated data streams, reflecting the continuous flow and transformation that defines Forge DC's work.
Cross-asset consistency: A complete system applied consistently across digital, motion, and presentation formats - so the brand holds wherever it shows up.
